LHH is seeking a Director of Financial Reporting for a privately held, billion-dollar organization in Florida. The role leads financial reporting, technical accounting, and corporate accounting, supervising a team of three and partnering with executives to ensure accurate results and strong controls.

You will oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, champion new accounting standards, and drive process improvements with SAP, Longview, and AI tools.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, technical accounting and corporate accounting.
• Proven experience leading accounting or financial reporting teams.
• Strong expertise in U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with consolidations and complex accounting transactions.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and Longview or similar platforms.
• Public accounting experience and exposure to AI-driven tools or automation preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and consolidations.
• Oversee technical accounting research, policy implementation and new standards adoption.
• Manage corporate accounting activities including intercompany eliminations.
• Supervise and develop a team of accounting professionals.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and maintain internal controls.
• Partner with external auditors and lead audit activities.
• Drive reporting efficiencies using SAP and Longview.
• Collaborate with business and finance leaders to provide insights.
• Explore AI and automation to improve reporting processes.
