Job summary

Randstad USA is partnering with a high-growth publicly traded leader to hire a Director of Financial Reporting. You will lead external reporting in strict adherence to U.S. GAAP and SEC mandates, guiding multi-entity consolidation and cross-border considerations.

The role requires 7+ years in financial reporting, a CPA, and deep expertise in GAAP, SEC rules, and internal controls. A proactive, hands-on leader thrives with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in financial reporting and technical accounting in a public company or Big 4.
• Strong U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting knowledge with SOX.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidation and cross-border or foreign issuer transitions.

Responsibilities

• Direct the preparation, review, and filing of Form 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K under SEC rules.
• Evaluate footnotes and MD&A for completeness and compliance with GAAP and standards.
• Lead technical accounting assessments for equity-based comp, capital restructuring, complex debt/equity instruments, contingencies.
• Maintain and test SOX-compliant internal controls over external reporting and consolidation.
• Provide guidance to GL, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Investor Relations on strategic transactions.
