Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• CPA or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience managing accounting or financial reporting teams.
• Public company and SEC reporting experience required.
• Mortgage banking/financial services/ banking experience preferred.
• Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) and earnings releases.
• Oversee statutory reporting for subsidiaries and regulatory filings.
• Coordinate with external auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders on financial reporting matters.
• Maintain internal controls over financial reporting with Internal Audit and SOX compliance teams.
• Deliver executive financial reporting packages and board materials.
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation in financial reporting.
• Mentor and develop financial reporting professionals.
