Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a Product Director to own the financial markets and financial platform product strategy and roadmap. You will lead a high-performing team of Product Managers, collaborating with engineering, partnerships, and operations to drive money movement, FX, and platform initiatives.

The role involves working with finance, partnerships, and legal to navigate regulatory complexity while delivering fast iterations and scalable solutions for clients globally.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering or a related technical field
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to structure complex problems and inform decisions with data and first-principles insights
• Drive and persistence to move ideas to reality quickly
• Ability to thrive in cross-cultural, cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Define and own Airwallex’s financial markets product strategy, solution design, roadmap, and delivery plans
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of product managers
• Collaborate with engineering and design to build high-quality, scalable features and user experiences across web and mobile
• Work with commercial, marketing, legal and finance to navigate regulatory and operational complexity while delivering simple products
• Balance long-term vision with near-term growth in a data-driven environment
• Extend financial markets into new verticals and validate opportunities
• Monitor product performance and drive ongoing improvements
