Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Director to lead strategic development programs in Finance & Accounting and Human Resources Leadership Development. The role coordinates with senior sponsors to set direction and executes strategy to cultivate future leaders.

The position oversees program participants and a Program Manager, focusing on recruitment, development, and rotational assignments across the organization. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 6 years of experience with developmental programs.
• People leadership experience.
• Strong written and verbal communications.
• Detail oriented and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Develop recruitment and intern program strategies including selection, placement and performance management.
• Develop meaningful rotational assignments across business areas to broaden exposure and growth.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
• Plan and build diverse leadership talent pools and development plans.
• Coach and develop program participants including performance management and compensation aspects.
• Create and review best-practice policies and definitions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
