Job summary

Americaatwork seeks a Director of Finance Business Partner to support a large Technology Infrastructure group in the St. Louis area. The role combines strategic partnering with hands-on FP&A and oversees budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for a major technology portfolio.

You will collaborate with senior Technology leaders to drive performance, build business cases, and provide scenarios and insights that influence decisions. TBM experience and strong leadership are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and reporting for a large Technology portfolio.
• Serve as trusted finance partner to senior Technology leadership.
• Analyze financial performance, variances, risks, opportunities, and cost drivers.
• Develop business cases and evaluate major technology investments.
• Provide hands-on financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Partner across Technology, Finance, Sourcing, Product, and other functions.
• Apply TBM principles to technology costs and P&L management.
• Drive financial and operational process improvements.
• Lead and develop Finance professionals.
• Present financial recommendations to senior executives.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Director, Finance Business Partner to support a large, complex Technology Infrastructure organization in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a finance leader who combines strategic business partnership with hands‑on FP&A expertise.

You’ll work closely with senior Technology leaders to manage financial performance, evaluate major investments, improve forecasting, and provide insights that influence business decisions.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial reporting for a large Technology portfolio.
• Serve as a trusted finance partner to senior Technology leadership.
• Analyze financial performance, variances, risks, opportunities, and cost drivers.
• Develop business cases and evaluate major technology investments.
• Provide hands‑on financial modeling and scenario analysis.

• Apply Technology Business Management (TBM) principles to technology costs and P&L management.

• Strong Technology Finance experience
• Hands‑on FP&A expertise
• Experience owning a large, complex portfolio

• Experience partnering with senior executives in a large, matrixed organization.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, or similar financial systems.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
• People leadership experience.

Preferred: Apptio/TBM experience, Agile IT exposure, technology infrastructure finance experience, and/or a Master’s degree.
