Job summary

Freudenberg Household Products LP (USA) in Aurora seeks a Director of Finance and Controlling Production to oversee P&L, working capital and liquidity for a strategically important unit. You will drive data-driven decisions, lead regional forecasts, and ensure compliance with financial principles while managing key projects.

We expect 7+ years in manufacturing controlling with leadership experience and strong SAP/Microsoft Office skills; AI tools are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive business controlling in manufacturing/production.
• At least 3 years of leadership including team development and performance management.
• Strong expertise in financial analysis, product costing, process modeling and KPI impact.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite; AI tools a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing with understanding of operational processes.
• Previous sales or commercial finance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for P&L, working capital and liquidity management for a strategically important FHCS entity.
• Ensure availability and analysis of data for sound decision making and contribute to country/cluster strategy.
• Monitor performance, evaluate risks and opportunities to deliver financial results (P&L, WC, cash).
• Provide predictable plans and forecasts for the region.
• Ensure local practices align with financial, legal and guiding principles.
• Lead preparation of OP incl. simulations with holistic view of P&L, balance sheet and liquidity.
• Manage local and corporate projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the P&L, working capital and liquidity management for an entity with high strategic relevance for FHCS
• Ensure availability and analysis of all data/information necessary for sound decision making and contributes to setting and driving the country/cluster overall strategy
• Continuously monitor the performance, evaluate risks and opportunities to ensure the country/cluster stays on track to deliver financial results, including Profit, WC and Cash
• Provide predictable plans and forecasts for the region.
• Ensure all local practices in the business unit are fully in line with financial, legal, and guiding principles
• Lead preparation of OP incl. simulations with a holistic view on all aspects of the P&L, balance sheet and liquidity
• Manage local and corporate projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive business controlling experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• At least 3 years of proven leadership experience, including team development and performance management.
• Strong expertise in financial analysis, product costing, process modeling, and evaluating the impact of business decisions on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite; experience leveraging AI tools and technologies is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing environment with a solid understanding of operational processes.
• Previous sales or commercial finance experience preferred.
