Job summary

TSR seeks a Director, Finance to model and monitor financial performance, partner with senior leaders, and deliver clear analyses to drive decisions. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A activities for the organization.

Based in Santa Monica, CA, this onsite role requires strong analytical and leadership skills, with English and Spanish proficiency and experience implementing FP&A systems. 6-month contract with potential extension.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in finance, FP&A, or related roles.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business management, or related field.
• Advanced English proficiency and professional Spanish proficiency, oral and written.
• Supervisory and team management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the budgeting model and financial forecasts.
• Partner with department heads to align budgets with objectives and financial goals.
• Conduct analyses to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor performance against budget and forecast, recommending corrective actions.
• Define KPIs and implement metrics to track financial performance.
• Serve as a strategic business partner to senior executives and functional leaders.
• Implement and enhance FP&A systems and tools with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Foster a culture of high performance, learning, and professional development.
• Provide guidance and instruction to team members to support professional growth while following supervisory direction.

• Ability to define and operationalize KPI frameworks across functions.
