Job summary

Genentech is seeking a Director, Field Force Effectiveness to define analytical frameworks that measure and optimize customer-facing teams. You will design robust field impact measurement systems and integrate diverse data sources to support senior leadership with actionable insights.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration, advance analytical methodologies, and shape the strategy for subnational performance across a complex product portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, analytical, business, or life sciences discipline required.
• 8–10+ years of progressive experience in commercial analytics, sales operations, or field effectiveness in pharma/biotech.
• Deep expertise in field force measurement, KPI design, and subnational analytics.
• Strong proficiency in data sources (IQVIA, Symphony) and analytics tools (Tableau, Qlik, SQL, Python/R).
• Excellent communication and ability to influence senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve field force performance measurement strategies aligned with brand goals.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to track field execution and identify opportunities or risks.
• Oversee analytics models and dashboards translating field activity into insights for leadership.
• Collaborate with omnichannel and digital teams to reflect multichannel touchpoints.
• Conduct subnational diagnostics to inform sales leadership and interventions.
• Advance methodologies to continuously improve field engagement measurements.
