Qualifications

• Master’s degree in medical education, higher education, psychology, or related field.
• Four years of relevant experience in a higher education environment.
• Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders (faculty, admins, students).
• Scholarly activity in education (publications/presentations).
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops enduring and innovative educator and professional development materials.
• Leads educator and professional development programs for CMED community faculty across Michigan.
• Designs and conducts workshops on teaching, learner assessment, and portfolio development via multiple formats (web, video, in-person).
• Provides consultation to faculty on teaching, assessment, and educational scholarship development.
• Monitors and evaluates outcomes of educator and development programs.
• Collaborates with CMED leadership to optimize the medical school learning environment.
• Establishes a database for clinical and educator development programs.
• Identifies resources and assists in grant writing for program activities.
• Implements professional development programs and strategic plans for faculty engagement across campuses.
