The role guides educators of medical students and residents and collaborates with senior associates to design, implement, and evaluate programs aligned with institutional goals.

Qualifications

• Meets criteria for Associate Professor or Professor rank at CMU College of Medicine.
• Experience in faculty development within academic medical education.
• Experience mentoring medical school faculty and chairs on appointments and tenure.

Responsibilities

• Lead faculty development initiatives for educators of medical students and residents.
• Collaborate with Associate Deans to design, develop, and evaluate programs aligned with college goals.
• Mentor chairs on appointment, reappointment, promotion, and tenure and advise on education policies.
