Job summary

Roche Tissue Diagnostics seeks a Director of Facilities & Site Services to lead site engineering, master planning, and regulatory compliance across Oro Valley and Marana campuses. You will shape long‑term asset strategy, manage multi‑million dollar budgets, and drive uptime and sustainability with a bias toward operational excellence.

The role calls for 12+ years in facilities/plant management within diagnostics/pharma/biotech, plus 7+ years in progressive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or related field.
• MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
• 12+ years of facilities/plant management experience in diagnostics/pharmaceuticals/biotech.
• 7+ years in progressive management roles.
• Experience leading cross-departmental teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Establish long-range utility master plans and standardized building design playbooks.
• Formulate and manage multi-million dollar CapEx and OpEx budgets.
• Drive predictive and condition-based asset management and risk plans.
• Oversee engineering operations for critical site utilities (RODI water, HVAC, electrical).
• Direct site services including food services, housekeeping, GMP cleaning, space planning, and PMO.
• Maintain FDA QSR, ISO 13485, and global IVD compliance.
