Job summary

ARS Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Director/Senior Director of Technical Operations to lead external manufacturing for neffy™, ensuring scalable, reliable supply. You will manage CMOs/CDMOs, drive technology transfer, and oversee lifecycle management across clinical and commercial programs.

The role requires 10+ years in Technical Operations with strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on manufacturing excellence and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, chemical engineering, engineering, or related discipline (MS/PhD/MBA preferred).
• 10+ years in Technical Operations, manufacturing, CMC, or related functions with external manufacturing experience.
• Experience managing external CMOs/CDMOs and supporting GMP clinical and commercial manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Technical Operations programs and external manufacturing activities, establishing strategy, priorities, scope, timelines, deliverables, responsibilities, budgets, risks, and key decision points.
• Own senior-level Technical Operations relationships with key CMOs/CDMOs and other external partners; governance, escalation pathways, and delivery accountability.
• Lead technology transfer, process characterization, validation/PPQ, and continued process verification; oversee life cycle management.
