Job summary

ARS Pharmaceuticals in San Diego seeks a Director/Senior Director, Technical Operations to lead external manufacturing and technical operations for neffy™. You will shape manufacturing strategy, manage CMOs, oversee tech transfers and scale-up, and ensure supply continuity for clinical and commercial products.

The role requires deep cGMP knowledge, 10+ years in Technical Operations, and strong collaboration with regulatory teams. Excellent leadership and budgeting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years in Technical Operations, manufacturing, or related functions.
• Experience managing external CMOs/CDMOs in outsourced models.
• Strong regulatory strategy and submissions experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Technical Operations programs and external manufacturing activities.
• Oversee CMO performance, governance, and escalation pathways for delivery commitments.
• Lead formulation/process development, tech transfer, validation, and lifecycle management.
• Coordinate manufacturing strategy with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Drive continuous improvement, budget planning, and risk management across the network.
