Job summary

Expedia Group seeks a senior engineering leader to define and drive the technical strategy for the Experience Management Platform. You will lead engineers and engineering managers to build a modern, scalable, agentic platform across brands, focusing on architecture, performance, and governance.

You will shape domain vision, set measurable KPIs, and partner with product, design, ML, and engineering to deliver outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; 10+ years of software experience and 5+ years of people management.
• Experience leading technical strategy, architecture, and delivery for domain- or organization-scale platforms.
• Experience working with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts in production-oriented software or platform contexts.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive technical strategy for the Experience Management Platform across EG brands.
• Lead a team of engineers and managers building the next-gen experience orchestration platform.
• Own the technical architecture, roadmap, and non-functional standards (performance, cost, scale).
• Drive transformation from legacy services to a modern, scalable architecture with agentic capabilities.
• Define domain vision and establish mechanisms for operational excellence (KPIs, reviews).
• Use data to set direction, measure ROI, and align roadmaps with business outcomes.
• Influence Directors and VPs across Product, Design, ML, and Engineering to align roadmaps.
• Develop leaders of leaders, setting promotion standards and building a high-performing organization.
• Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions that improve outcomes.
