Job summary
Expedia Group seeks a senior leader to define the technical strategy for the Experience Management Platform and guide engineers and managers to deliver scalable, agentic experiences across Expedia's brands. You will own architecture, roadmaps, and operational standards to ensure performance and cost efficiency.
The role drives modernization of legacy services, aligns roadmaps with KPIs, and incorporates AI/ML capabilities while mentoring leaders and shaping promotion standards across Product,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent related professional experience.
- 10+ years of software experience and 5+ years of people management experience.
- Experience leading technical strategy, architecture, and delivery for domain- or organization-scale platforms.
- Proven ownership of complex distributed systems spanning multiple services or domains with architecture, design and data modeling.
- Experience with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows in production environments.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive technical strategy for the Experience Management Platform.
- Lead a team of engineers and engineering managers building modern experience orchestration.
- Own architecture, roadmap, and non-functional standards (performance, cost, scale).
- Transform legacy services to scalable architectures with agentic capabilities.
- Set domain vision with measurable business outcomes and operational excellence.
