Job summary

Xenon Pharmaceuticals seeks a Director of Strategic Engagements (Central) to advance commercially focused HCP engagement for Azetukalner. You will lead national and regional KOL programs, collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and others, and drive launch readiness in a high-impact, global neuroscience portfolio.

You will travel 50-75% and partner across Commercial, Medical, and Market Access teams to shape disease education, stakeholder engagement, and strategic partnerships with

Qualifications

• A BA/BS in a related field is required; MBA/PhD/PharmD or related graduate degree preferred.
• 10+ years in epilepsy marketing, medical, key account management, sales, or leadership engaging with KOLs/Influential HCPs.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with internal & external stakeholders to drive results.
• Deep understanding of industry trends and ability to develop competitive strategies.
• Proven ability to build lasting customer relationships with patient focus and strong customer centricity.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently under tight timelines and be a team contributor.

Responsibilities

• Identify and maintain relationships with national and regional epilepsy KOLs, advisors, and stakeholders.
• Own commercial KOL influence mapping, profiling, and engagement plans informing prioritization and planning.
• Synthesize stakeholder insights into actionable recommendations for strategy, launch readiness, and regional decisions.
• Advise Commercial leadership with market intelligence and stakeholder perspectives.
• Support launch readiness by engaging key stakeholders to drive awareness and early adoption of Azetukalner.
• Lead cross-functional coordination across Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Advocacy, and matrix partners.
