Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX seeks a Director of Enterprise Systems and Services (ESS) to lead enterprise infrastructure, cloud services, and governance. The role focuses on modernization, operational excellence, financial stewardship, and regulatory compliance to deliver secure, scalable platforms supporting growth and mission-critical activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• 10 years of progressively responsible, related experience including at least 3 years in supervisory capacity.
• Experience with ITIL, including ability to develop operational sustainability plans and related tasks to accomplish outcomes and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees day-to-day service deliverables and impacts for the Enterprise Systems and Services division.
• Assist in planning with resourcing teams of ESS strategic and operational project portfolio.
• Manage enterprise architects to deliver vetted solutions aligned with annual portfolio.
• Manage lifecycle management strategy and budgeting for end-of-life infrastructure.
• Assist Leadership with resource planning for other IT divisions and business partners.
• Participate in annual capital plans and propose innovative solutions to improve IT efficiency.
• Establish policies for server hardware, OS, storage and compute components.
• Forecast demand with business partners and suppliers for projects.
• Represent the Division in RCA activities to improve reliability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
