Job summary

Highmark Health seeks a Director to lead strategic direction, management and execution of enterprise-wide initiatives, focusing on planning, funding processes, and transformation programs to improve cost, efficiency and customer experience. The role drives long-range goals, aligns strategy across units, oversees funding and governance, and provides executive-level reporting.

Requires 7+ years in strategy/transformation with strong leadership and Agile delivery familiarity; healthcare experience

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, finance, economics, operations, information technology, or related field
7 years of strategy, transformation, operations, or consulting experience
5 years of management experience
3 years of experience in matrixed organizations
Healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations; develop policies and programs; may have budget authority
Design and manage the enterprise strategic planning process
Define strategic objectives and long-range goals
Align strategy and execution across business units
Oversee funding processes, strategic portfolios, and technology-enabled transformations
Develop and lead strategic governance and reporting
Ensure workload balance across the team
Provide executive-level reporting and risk management across projects
