Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Director of PMO Governance & Operations to lead enterprise portfolio governance, portfolio management processes, and PMO standards across the organization. This role partners with executive leadership to mature governance, provide portfolio insights, and advise on investment decisions.

The role requires a strong track record in leading PMO/TMO functions, cross-functional collaboration, and highly effective communication with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, IT, Operations Management, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred in related field.
• 10+ years in project portfolio management, PMO/TMO leadership, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, and scaling enterprise portfolio governance and PMO capabilities.
• Experience influencing senior executives on prioritization and investment decisions.
• Experience with Planview, Clarity, Jira, Azure DevOps, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and evolve enterprise portfolio governance operating model and PMO standards.
• Lead enterprise portfolio planning and prioritization aligned to enterprise strategy.
• Own cross-functional intake, chartering, prioritization, and stage-gate governance.
• Provide strategic insights, risk analysis, and portfolio health assessments to leaders.
• Develop and maintain portfolio management tooling strategy and data governance.
• Lead the cross-functional PMO/TMO Community of Practice and drive capability development.
• Develop a high-performing team across PMO, program, project, finance, and strategy functions.
• Support special projects requested by the Office of the CEO.
