Job summary
Harnham is seeking a Director of Ontology & Knowledge Products to build and lead a brand-new enterprise capability powering AI, analytics, automation, and agentic systems. This fully remote US role involves designing the operating model, building the team, defining the roadmap, and establishing the enterprise ontology for trusted AI at scale.

Qualifications
- Experience leading ontology, semantic layer, knowledge graph, or enterprise information architecture initiatives.
- Strong understanding of semantic modelling, metadata, taxonomies, entity-relationship design, and governance.
- Experience building capabilities from scratch in ambiguous environments.
- Exposure to AI, GenAI, retrieval systems, knowledge graphs, or agent-based architectures.
Responsibilities
- Owning the enterprise ontology portfolio and semantic product strategy.
- Designing ontology models, taxonomies, knowledge structures, and cross-domain relationships.
- Building standards for semantic modelling, AI-ready data, and knowledge architecture.
- Leading ontology lifecycle management, governance, adoption, and continuous improvement.
- Partnering with AI, Data Product, Governance, Architecture, Engineering, and business leaders.
- Building and leading a new team of ontology and knowledge specialists.
