Job summary

Arrow International seeks a Director of Environmental Health & Safety to lead the company’s EHS strategy across manufacturing and distribution networks. The role partners with Operations, HR, and site leadership to build a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, or industrial environments.
• 5+ years of EHS leadership experience with building safety programs.
• Experience supporting multiple facilities or geographically distributed operations.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to reduce workplace injuries with measurable programs.
• Willingness to travel to Arrow facilities as needed.
• CSP, CIH, CHMM or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead Arrow’s enterprise-wide EHS strategy across manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, and office locations.
• Establish consistent EHS policies, standards, procedures, and expectations across all Arrow facilities.
• Partner with site leadership to build a strong, proactive safety culture and embed safety accountability.
• Establish and monitor EHS performance metrics, including leading and lagging indicators, OSHA recordables, LTIs, near misses, CAPA, and other safety measures.
• Lead and standardize incident investigation and root-cause analysis processes with corrective actions.
• Lead initiatives to reduce injuries, workers’ compensation exposure, operational risk, and safety events.
• Oversee compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other environmental regs; serve as primary DOE for inspections.
• Develop and maintain company-wide programs related to LOTO, machine guarding, PPE, HazCom, and other safety risks.
• Lead facility EHS audits and risk assessments; work with leadership to close gaps.
• Provide training programs for employees, supervisors, and site leadership.
• Prepare and present EHS performance and risks to senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve EHS systems and sustainability initiatives.
