Job summary

University IT Services at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee seeks an Enterprise Systems Integration & Development Director to lead the university’s enterprise data ecosystem, data engineering, and integration efforts. You will oversee data platforms, data warehouses, and inter-system interoperability, reporting to the COO/Deputy CIO.

This role directs multiple teams, aligns technology with academic and administrative priorities, ensures compliance with regulations, and manages vendor

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience managing complex IT or information systems projects.
• Eight or more years of experience leading, supervising, and developing professional staff.
• Proven experience directing the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise applications and integration solutions.
• Experience partnering with diverse stakeholders to deliver enterprise-level technology solutions for university operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee enterprise data management, data engineering, systems integration, and enterprise application development services.
• Lead the planning, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of enterprise data platforms (data warehouses, data lakes, reporting environments).
• Manage enterprise application integration services, data exchanges, and interoperability among institutional systems.
• Collaborate with campus stakeholders to identify requirements, prioritize initiatives, resolve service issues, and deliver tech solutions.
• Establish operational priorities, service delivery standards, project roadmaps, and resource allocation for data and systems integration.
