Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a senior technical leader to own the enterprise data catalog-governance architecture and guide platform adoption across governance domains.

You will translate complex governance and privacy requirements into scalable technical designs, ensuring data quality and secure access across member and external feeds. Strong communication with stakeholders is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data governance, data architecture, metadata management, or related tech functions.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise data catalogs, metadata, and lineage.
• Ability to translate governance requirements into technical designs, standards, and delivery plans.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical tradeoffs to executives and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with cloud platforms, data security, privacy, and governance controls.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise catalog-governance architecture, standards, roadmap, backlog, prioritization, and adoption outcomes.
• Define technical representation of metadata semantics, catalog standards, lineage, and governance-platform patterns.
• Design future-state platform solutions for metadata, lineage, data quality monitoring, and access governance.
• Translate business and security requirements into architecture, standards, and acceptance criteria.
• Provide direction for integrity and standardization of data feeds, mappings, and governance controls.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning Data Governance, Cloud Operations, Data Engineering, security, and privacy.
