Job summary

Vizient, Inc. seeks an executive data leader to own and advance the enterprise MDM strategy, shaping scalable governance and trusted data assets across Vizient's products, operations, and business functions.

You will design the operating model, establish data standards, and drive measurable outcomes through cross-functional partnerships with Platform Product Management, Engineering, Data & Digital, and business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, CS, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years in enterprise data management, master data management, or data strategy.
• Proven experience leading large-scale transformation in matrixed organizations.
• Strong ability to influence executives and partner with engineering on scalable platforms.
• Deep knowledge of data governance, metadata, and data quality principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Vizient's long‑term MDM strategy and roadmap.
• Design and evolve the MDM operating model, defining ownership and stewardship.
• Partner with Data & Digital, Spend Management, Consulting, Platform PM, and Engineering.
• Drive adoption, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead a high‑performing team to enable enterprise data capability and governance.
