Virginia Farm Bureau Family of Companies seeks a Director, Enterprise Architecture to lead the design and governance of our enterprise technology ecosystem. Based in Richmond, VA, you will align IT strategy with business goals, drive standards, and steward architecture decisions at scale.

You will partner with executives to balance cost, risk, and long-term flexibility, oversee platform modernization, data and integration patterns, and ensure regulatory compliance across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in IT.
• 10+ years in enterprise or solution architecture.
• Experience in regulated environments with risk/audit awareness.
• Ability to influence decisions without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise architecture principles and standards.
• Lead platform modernization and target-state architecture.
• Advise executives on technology strategy and investments.
• Ensure architectural decisions balance cost, risk, and flexibility.
