Job summary

CARET is seeking a Director, Payments to own the go-to-market strategy, operating model, and revenue performance of CARET Pay, our embedded payments product within our legal practice management software. This role is highly cross-functional, spanning payments, sales, CS, implementation, product, finance, and legal.

You will lead merchant onboarding, activation, and retention, drive adoption of invoicing workflows, and build pricing and terms with finance and legal.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in B2B payments, fintech, or SaaS with leadership experience.
• Experience embedding payments within software platforms and invoicing workflows.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across Sales, CS, Product, Finance, and Legal.

Responsibilities

• Own payments operating model and P&L for CARET Pay.
• Lead end-to-end merchant onboarding, activation, and retention.
• Collaborate across GTM, Marketing, Finance, and Legal to optimize strategy.
• Build and monitor metrics to drive attach rates and revenue growth.
