Job summary

Prep Network is seeking a capable director to organize and execute nationwide youth basketball tournaments and showcases. You will lead event operations, ensuring a first-class experience for participants and leveraging provided tools and resources to deliver elite events.

As the face of our event operations team, you will collaborate with venues nationwide, manage logistics, and uphold high standards for every showcase.

Qualifications

• Organized with multitasking ability and strong prioritization.
• Experience running showcase events with 50–200 participants is highly preferred.
• Decisive with ability to solve problems on the fly under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience managing groups of 10+ people.
• Proficient with Google Docs/Sheets and basic tech tools.

Responsibilities

• Planning and Organizing: collaborate with event ops to prepare pre-event details and logistics.
• Event Execution: manage check-in, run of show, and wrap-up for attendees.
• Communication: liaise with venue staff and facility contacts.
• Problem Solving: troubleshoot issues onsite during events.
