Job summary

Solar Landscape, the leading commercial rooftop solar developer in the U.S., seeks a Director of Environmental, Health & Safety Operations in Asbury Park, NJ. You will lead the EHS program across a growing portfolio of rooftop solar projects and collaborate with Construction, Project Management, Engineering, Operations and subcontractors to deliver safe, compliant work.

This highly visible role requires strategic thinking and hands-on field engagement, with a track record of improving safety

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
8+ years of EHS experience within construction, EPC, renewable energy, utilities, or related industries.
3+ years of leadership experience managing multi-site safety programs and teams.
Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926/1910, NFPA 70E, NEC, and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day execution of Environmental, Health & Safety programs across all project sites.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NEC, environmental regulations, and company standards.
Conduct site audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
Partner with project teams to identify and mitigate operational risks.
Support contractor and subcontractor prequalification and performance management.
