Job summary

Brown University Health seeks a senior steward to lead the centralized donor stewardship program in Providence, RI. You will ensure timely, meaningful donor recognition, develop enterprise standards, and drive engagement across hospitals and fundraising programs.

With 7+ years in advancement or donor relations, you will manage strategies for major gifts, oversee reporting, and coach staff to deliver consistent stewardship across the system. Regular daytime hours apply in a full-time role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of advancement, stewardship, donor relations, or fundraising support experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing donor stewardship programs and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Brown Health's enterprise donor stewardship program.
• Align and manage standards for acknowledgements, recognition, naming opportunities, stewardship reporting, concierge services, and donor appreciation across the system.
• Partner with frontline fundraisers to implement customized stewardship strategies for major and principal donors.
• Oversee stewardship reporting and recognition fulfillment.
• Manage donor recognition inventory, naming opportunities, and stewardship tracking.
• Lead donor concierge services, phone support, and stewardship presence at fundraising events.
• Partner with Leadership Giving to strengthen grateful patient program and stewardship.
• Develop departmental policies, procedures, and service standards while coaching and developing staff.

SUMMARY

Leads Brown Health's centralized donor stewardship program, ensuring every donor receives timely, meaningful, and consistent recognition and appreciation. Develops enterprise stewardship standards and manages the execution of donor relations activities across all hospitals and fundraising programs.
