Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's or terminal degree in law, counseling, rehabilitation, psychology, education, public health, medicine, or related field.
• Excellent consultation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
• Familiarity with disability access, accommodations, and medical education standards.
• On-site presence on WSU Spokane Health Sciences campus required.

Responsibilities

• Provide institutional leadership for disability access and accommodations for medical students and programs.
• Advise on disability-related policy matters and promote equitable access across learning environments.
• Lead learning support initiatives within the Student Learning Center (SLC), including tutoring and workshops.
• Contribute to strategic planning, faculty development, and quality improvement efforts related to access and learner support.
