Job summary

Qualifications

• Masters or terminal degree in law, counseling, rehabilitation, psychology, education, public health, medicine, or related field.
• Eligibility for faculty appointment within a department.
• Familiarity with medical school standards, clinical training, simulation-based education, and testing accommodations.
• Experience managing sensitive, complex, and confidential accommodation cases.
• Excellent consultation and communication skills.
• Commitment to access and opportunity in academic environment.
• On-site presence on WSU Spokane Health Sciences campus.

Responsibilities

• Lead disability access and accommodations for medical students across learning environments.
• Advise leaders on disability-related policy matters and promote inclusion.
• Oversee learning support initiatives, tutoring, and workshops within the Student Learning Center.
• Provide leadership and administrative oversight for accessibility and learner support programs.
