Job summary

Optum is seeking a Product Director for Directed Spend Consumer Payments to lead strategy, roadmap, and performance for Directed Spend Rewards and Offers. You will align member, client, and business needs, shape investment priorities, and guide Product Owners across cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and engaging solutions.

You will drive portfolio governance, stakeholder alignment, and end-to-end delivery while mentoring Product Owners and ensuring outcomes meet market

Qualifications

10+ years in product management or related senior roles in large organizations.
5+ years leading Product Managers or cross-functional teams.
Experience defining product strategy and multi-year roadmaps across complex capabilities.
Experience in healthcare, financial services, fintech, payments, or rewards products.

Responsibilities

Define and lead product vision, strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities for Directed Spend lines.
Own portfolio performance including growth, adoption, and financial results.
Develop business cases for new capabilities and investments using analytics and market insights.
Lead Product Owners and cross-functional teams to translate strategy into backlogs and roadmaps.
Provide governance for prioritization, release readiness, and regulatory compliance.
Represent portfolio with senior leaders, clients, and partners, communicating strategy and risks.
