Job summary

Celestica Inc. seeks a Director of the Design for Excellence (DFx) Center of Excellence to lead DFM, DFA, and DFT integration across Hardware Platform Solutions.

You will partner with design teams from early development to co-optimize hardware designs, establishing tools and infrastructure to accelerate time-to-market while optimizing unit economics and quality. You will mentor DFx teams, implement standardized DFx workflows, and collaborate with manufacturing partners to maximize yield and

Qualifications

• 12+ years in hardware engineering, advanced manufacturing, or NPI.
• 5+ years in a leadership role managing DFx, DFM, DFA, or DFT teams.
• Experience in DFx design co-optimization and integration into CAD/PLM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design co-optimization with HPS teams for manufacturability, assembly, and test.
• Lead, mentor, and scale DFx teams across projects.
• Evaluate and maintain DFx software platforms and analytical infrastructure.
• Embed DFx rule-checking into CAD/PLM and NPI phase-gate system.
• Bridge design engineering with global manufacturing partners to maximize yield.
