Job summary

Butterfly Network, Inc. seeks a Director of DevOps & QA Engineering to lead QA and cloud infrastructure efforts, shaping test automation, CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and platform reliability across onshore and offshore teams.

You will partner with product, security, and regulatory teams to ship fast while maintaining HIPAA, FDA, and SOC 2 compliance, building a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, QA, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• 3–5 years in engineering management or senior technical leadership.
• Proven experience leading QA and DevOps across distributed teams (onshore & offshore).
• Deep expertise in CI/CD, test automation, and developer tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA and DevOps teams across onshore and offshore sites.
• Define strategy for automated testing, coverage standards, and metrics.
• Own the DevOps and platform roadmap: CI/CD, IaC, deployment automation.
