The Director, Dermatology, Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics directs and manages the clinical programs, operations, and staff of the Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, and Aesthetics service line. Working closely with staff, department directors, and physicians, the Director ensures the highest standards of quality and service are maintained and oversees quality improvement efforts designed to improve clinical performance and maintain regulatory compliance. The Director evaluates developments in medical care, makes recommendations for new practices and procedures, and advises executive and medical teams on matters impacting patient care and the growth of the service line. This role manages daily operations, finances, and strategic planning of the department, with accountability for both clinical outcomes and the financial performance of the service line.

Applies Continuous Quality Improvement methodologies and strategic planning frameworks to guide decisions, enhancements, and system development.

4. Financial Stewardship: Leverages established systems and processes to maintain accountability for operational effectiveness and responsible resource allocation.
5. People Leadership: Utilizes proven methods to recruit, engage, develop, inspire, manage, and retain a high-performing team of skilled professionals.
6. Cross-Functional Leadership: Leads by example to achieve objectives through integrated processes and collaborative initiatives. Actively engages with and supports brand and service delivery teams as needed.
7. Regulatory Compliance: Ensures full implementation of and adherence to all regulatory agency requirements.
8. Community Relations: Acts as the organization's representative and connector with the community.
9. Department-Specific Responsibilities: Fulfills duties and responsibilities unique to the specific department as applicable.
