Job summary

The Nuclear Company, a fast-growing AI-first nuclear energy startup, is seeking a Director of Deployment Finance to own FP&A across up to 19 active projects. You’ll partner with Project Directors, Brookfield JV finance, and Procurement to keep deployment spend disciplined.

Responsibilities include monthly actual-vs-budget tracking, monitoring EPC draw schedules, and reporting capital deployment by project. Candidates bring 8+ years in finance roles and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in FP&A or project finance.
• Direct EPC contract management experience.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Deployment cost tracking for every project.
• Monitor draw schedules and milestone billing.
• Explain cost variances to leadership.
• Maintain capital deployment dashboard.
• Collaborate with project teams to keep data clean.
