Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Director, Demand Generation. The Director, Demand Generation will be responsible for creating and executing demand generation strategies, overseeing market planning, managing marketing and event campaigns, and conducting market research. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to drive lead generation and growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business objectives, including brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
• Oversee all demand generation activities, including digital marketing, content marketing, email campaigns, social media, SEO, and paid advertising.
• Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
• Collaborate with sales, product and operations, and other cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
• Drive the creation of compelling and engaging content that resonates with target audiences and supports demand generation initiatives.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize performance.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging marketing technologies, continuously innovating and improving marketing practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Experience in the EVC, renewable energy, and microgrid field preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior marketing role, with a strong focus on demand generation and inbound marketing.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive measurable results.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• In-depth knowledge of marketing automation tools - Hubspot preferred, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
