About The Role

We’re looking for a Director of Demand Generation to own and scale our full-funnel demand strategy—driving awareness, pipeline, and revenue growth through both digital and field channels. You’ll lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of programs across paid media, ABM, events, email, SEO, and content syndication to ensure consistent pipeline delivery for both self-serve and sales-assisted motions.

You thrive in data and are comfortable launching fast, failing smart, and scaling what works. You bring hands-on experience running paid search, paid social, and other performance channels in-house. You know how to optimize every stage of the funnel, from first ad to in-product expansion. You’re comfortable working inside the product, running messaging experiments, optimizing flows, and partnering with the product team. You move fast, prioritize ruthlessly, and drive results without waiting on perfection.

You’ll report directly to the VP of Growth and partner closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing leadership to fuel BoomPop’s next phase of customer acquisition and expansion. This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone who knows how to build high-performing programs, lead a team, and deliver results.

Top 3 Priorities

  • Deliver pipeline. Own pipeline creation goals for self-serve and sales-assisted segments and channels. Drive full-funnel pipeline growth through performance marketing, self-serve optimization, and product-led acquisition tactics.
  • Establish repeatable, data-driven processes for campaign planning, execution, and reporting. Build and execute a high-velocity growth marketing experimentation engine across paid, organic, and product-driven channels.
  • Own attribution and reporting across the growth stack to tie campaigns to ROI, PQLs, and revenue.

Within 30 Days

  • Audit existing acquisition channels, campaign performance, tracking, and user flows.
  • Launch 2–3 quick-win experiments to increase traffic quality, conversion, etc.
  • Align with Sales and Product teams on ICP, funnel handoffs, and key success metrics.
  • Begin building a scalable measurement framework across acquisition and product-qualified funnel stages.
  • Launch a new high-impact campaign or growth loop targeting self-serve activation or expansion.

Within 60 Days

  • Develop an integrated funnel strategy that connects paid channels to in-product conversion and monetization.
  • Improve conversion rates across priority campaigns by 15–20% through optimization or redesign.
  • Implement cohort-based reporting or attribution modeling tied to revenue outcomes.

Within 90 Days

  • Fully launch a scalable product experimentation machine.
  • Have a steady cadence of experiments running and learning cycles established.
  • Be contributing measurable impact to user growth, pipeline and product monetization.

What You'll Do

  • Own and optimize our performance marketing channels (search, paid social, retargeting, affiliates) to efficiently drive qualified pipeline and self-serve conversions.
  • Build full-funnel, multi-touch campaigns to accelerate both PLG and sales-assisted growth from first click to product activation to expansion.
  • Develop, launch, and optimize product-qualified lead (PQL) and intent-based acquisition strategies, tying marketing spend to monetization outcomes.
  • Be a close partner to the Growth Product Manager to optimize landing pages, conversion flows, and other key onboarding moments.
  • Build and manage a robust marketing experimentation roadmap with a rapid test-and-learn cycle across channels and tactics.
  • Own growth marketing analytics and attribution across self serve, assisted sales, and sales motions. Develop reporting, dashboards, and insights to inform budget allocation and campaign strategy.
  • Oversee and build automated onboarding, retention, and expansion campaigns triggered by product usage data.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product to build ABM outbound motions informed by product signals and behavioral data.
  • Build a team culture of experimentation. Help build and lead a small, scrappy team of growth marketers, media buyers, and contractors.

Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of growth or performance marketing experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or team-building role.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through paid and product-led acquisition tactics.
  • Experience owning multi-million dollar budgets and scaling profitable campaigns across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and other paid channels.
  • Strong familiarity with product analytics tools, web analytics, attribution platforms, and marketing automation tools.
  • Bonus: Experience building marketing strategies for freemium or usage-based products with PLG + sales-assisted GTM.

Total Compensation Package; Including Benefits and Stock:

  • Base: $145,000 - $165,000 a year; Depending on Experience and Qualifications
  • Medical, vision, dental, life: $10,000 - $16,000 a year; Depending on Individual or Family Plan
  • Equity: Our vision is to take BoomPop to the moon; Total Estimated Value for this Role is $50,000+
