Job summary

Machina Labs seeks a Director of Defense Business Development for Europe & Middle East to establish and grow our presence with European defense primes. This remote, Europe-based role will travel across the region and periodically to Los Angeles, with candidates residing in Europe.

You’ll identify programs, build trusted relationships, and turn engagements into POCs, qualification, and production opportunities, working with engineers and executives alike.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background with engineering grounding.
• Experience in business development, capture, or program leadership.
• Ability to work with engineers, program leaders, and executives.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Europe and to the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Build Machina’s presence in European defense primes and programs.
• Identify opportunities and convert them into POCs, qualifications, and production programs.
• Develop account and market strategy across Europe and partnerships.
• Serve as a regional interface with engineering, manufacturing, and leadership.
• Move opportunities from dialogue to technical evaluation and production.
• Collaborate with U.S. teams to move opportunities to execution.
