Job summary

EY is recruiting a Director for EY-Parthenon’s Strategy and Execution Deal Finance (M&A) practice in the US. You will lead buy and sell side projects, align with CFO priorities, and drive transaction strategies from pre-deal to post-deal integration.

You’ll collaborate with client teams across sectors and leverage EY’s AI tools in delivery. The role requires a strong finance background, MBA preferred, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus 5 years of related work experience; MBA preferred.
• Experience in Finance integrations, divestitures, and/or carve-outs.
• In-depth knowledge of Finance function and significant management consulting experience.
• Proven ability to manage complex environments and synthesize solutions.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of leveraging AI tools in business, including Microsoft Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Lead buy side and sell side projects focusing on the CFO agenda and Finance function.
• Develop and execute transaction strategies across sectors with client service teams.
• Manage pre-deal operational planning to post-deal integration planning and execution.
