Baroco Corporation in Pittsfield, MA seeks a Day Habilitation Program Director to lead the Day Habilitation Program, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality services. The role oversees staff, budgets, and operations onsite, coordinating consumer plans and safety.

The position requires a health-related degree or extensive healthcare supervisory experience, a valid MA driver's license, and the ability to assist with lifts up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred.
• Six years of healthcare experience, including supervisory experience.
• Minimum three years health-care experience with at least two years in supervision.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Report.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Day Habilitation Program.
• Ensure program compliance with state, federal, and MassHealth regulations.
• Maintain program policies, consumer intakes, and contractual goals.
• Manage the program budget, supplies, and physical environment.
• Ensure timely, high-quality completion of all required documentation and reporting.
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate program staff and consultants.
• Oversee staff hiring, training, scheduling and coverage.
• Provide technical assistance, guidance and support to team members.
• Oversee consumer programming, service plans, goals and behavior support plans.
• Advocate for consumer rights and ensure services promote dignity, independence, and safety.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and lifting (up to 60 lbs.)
• Intervene in behavioral emergencies, including the use of physical restraints when required.
