Job summary
Kennedy-Donovan Center in New Bedford, MA is seeking a Day Habilitation Director to lead a dynamic program serving adults with developmental disabilities. You will guide operations, oversee staff, and promote person-centered services that foster independence and community engagement.
Reporting to senior leadership, you will manage budgets, ensure MassHealth compliance, and build partnerships with families, DDS, and community providers, while pursuing quality improvement and ongoing staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field with at least five years of experience in healthcare or human services.
- Experience supervising or leading a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and program operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and daily oversight of the Day Habilitation Program.
- Oversee admissions, service plans, and discharge planning.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
- Develop partnerships with families, DDS, and community organizations.
- Lead staff development and supervision.
