Job summary

Central Hudson seeks a visionary Director of Data & Analytics Enablement to lead enterprise data strategy, governance, and analytic capabilities. You will partner with business leadership to align data initiatives with utility operations, regulatory requirements, and transformation goals, while enabling AI and predictive analytics across domains.

You will build and mentor high‑performing teams, oversee data platforms and pipelines, and champion data literacy, so the organization can achieve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, data science, information systems, business or related field with 7+ years IT, data & analytics
• 5+ years leadership in data strategy, governance, engineering, or analytics
• Strong understanding of data governance, engineering, management best practices
• Proficiency in modern data platforms/tools (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI)
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and change leadership
• Familiarity with DAMA‑DMBOK, ISO, or similar frameworks
• Commitment to transparency, inclusion, and continuous improvement
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data strategy, governance, and analytics enablement
• Partner with business leadership to align data initiatives with operations
• Establish and co‑chair enterprise data governance councils
• Mentor teams in data architecture, analytics, and engineering
• Oversee data platforms, pipelines, and cloud native architectures
• Drive adoption of modern data engineering practices and real‑time analytics
• Lead modernization of analytics platforms with self‑service tools
• Set standards for data management, metadata, lineage and stewardship
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, regulatory, and Legal on compliance
• Provide support for storm restoration efforts
