Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Director of Product Management, Data Science to define strategy and outcomes for a portfolio of data science products, including predictive models and analytics capabilities. You will lead Product Managers and collaborate with Data Science, Data Engineering and architecture leadership to deliver scalable solutions that drive business value.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience in product management or product strategy, including at least three years managing data science, predictive analytics, or machine learning products.
• Proven track record of taking predictive models or other data science solutions from concept through production deployment and measurable business impact.
• Experience with agile development strongly preferred.
• Experience in claims, insurance, healthcare, financial services, or other regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision and multi-year roadmap for data science products.
• Lead portfolio planning to identify opportunities in predictive modeling and forecasting.
• Ensure problems are framed for data science with clear success metrics.
• Partner with senior leaders to align scope, data dependencies, and investments.
• Own portfolio KPIs and alignment to enterprise OKRs.
• Oversee delivery across product and data science teams.
• Set backlog quality, acceptance criteria, and governance standards.
• Manage data pipelines, integrations, and delivery risks.
• Guide transition from PoC to production with deployment criteria.
• Lead full lifecycle: release readiness, monitoring, recalibration, and retirement decisions.
