Job summary

Disney Experiences Technology & Digital is seeking a hands-on leader to drive the development and delivery of modern data products. You will lead engineers responsible for data pipelines, ensuring freshness, completeness, security, and privacy while delivering features that provide insights and growth.

Based in the Data Products & Platform group, you will partner with internal stakeholders and peers across Disney, reporting to a Senior Manager or Director within the org.

Qualifications

8+ years of related work experience, incl. 3+ years in engineering leadership.
Strong data architecture, warehousing, analytics and data science experience.
Experience with Snowflake and BigQuery platforms.

Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into engineering work.
Execute data product strategy and roadmap; contribute ideas.
Lead a team of engineers; balance delivery with mentorship.
Promote data engineering best practices and standards.
Serve as a technical resource on delivery practices for engineers.
Support data collection and onboarding while ensuring privacy compliance.
