Job summary

Initiative is seeking a Director of Data Management to lead end-to-end data enablement for the Paramount account. You will govern taxonomy, drive data quality, and enable site-served reporting while coordinating across Communications Design, Growth Analytics, Data Management and Ad Operations.

You will mentor Data Operations teams, drive automation, and ensure timely, accurate data delivery for downstream reporting environments.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in taxonomy strategy, governance and standardized taxonomy practices supporting accurate and efficient data collection and reporting.
• Expert knowledge of data QA, issue resolution and campaign data reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of agency campaign workflow from planning and activation through trafficking, reporting and optimization.
• Experience working with ad servers such as CM360 and understanding how taxonomy and site-served data map to downstream reporting environments.
• Experience with media planning and buying systems such as Prisma and related campaign-management platforms.
• Strong understanding of site-served reporting requirements, data templates and partner data collection.
• Ability to translate complex reporting requirements into clear operational processes and rules.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex data-flow issues across multiple systems and stakeholders.
• Experience identifying and implementing process automation and operational efficiencies.
• Excellent project management, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead taxonomy strategy and governance conversations across key stakeholders to support accurate and consistent media reporting.
• Partner with client and agency Analytics teams to understand reporting and dashboard requirements and ensure they are translated into upstream campaign setup requirements.
• Act as the subject matter expert for projects and processes relating to taxonomy, data quality and reporting enablement.
• Proactively identify, elevate and resolve roadblocks related to taxonomy, data mapping, ingestion and reporting readiness.
• Provide ongoing technical guidance and recommendations related to data operations processes and taxonomy requirements.
• Facilitate communication and progression of data-related workstreams through regular status meetings and working sessions.
• Assure timely follow-through on scheduled and ad hoc data-enablement deliverables.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and automate processes while maintaining required data quality.
• Own the end-to-end operational process from taxonomy development through clean, reporting-ready campaign data.
• Establish and maintain clear taxonomy governance, including standardized interpretation of fields that require strategic or campaign-specific judgment.
