Job summary

Moderna is seeking a Director, Data Management Operational Excellence to design and advance the global operating model for Data Management and Clinical Data Standards. You will drive standardization, governance, and digital enablement to ensure scalable, inspection-ready data delivery across our development portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, health sciences, data sciences, or related analytical field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive clinical data management experience with global studies across Phase I–IV; leadership experience.
• Experience designing governance frameworks, KPI systems, and analytics models at portfolio level; vendor oversight experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of global Data Management operating model with regulatory compliance.
• Establish enterprise governance frameworks and standardized processes; ensure risk transparency.
• Define KPI and analytics framework for proactive risk detection and portfolio insights.
• Drive inspection readiness through auditable processes, documentation, and traceability controls.
• Represent Data Management in regulatory inspections and health authority interactions; communicate messaging.
