Job summary

Moderna Therapeutics seeks a Data Product Manager to own end-to-end data products and AI use cases across its CMC organization. You will translate operational challenges into governed data products with clear ownership and measurable value.

You will partner with data engineering, platform, analytics and business teams to define production-ready data products, ensure governance, and drive adoption in workflows, including GxP considerations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in pharmaceutical or regulated industries
• 6+ years delivering data, analytics, reporting, or digital solutions used in production workflows
• Familiarity with data modeling, data quality, and cloud-based data platforms
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical systems and data domains (e.g., Veeva, SAP, MES, LIMS)
• Experience translating business needs into clear, structured requirements for engineering teams

Responsibilities

• Own prioritization and sequencing of data products and AI use cases grounded in measurable business value
• Define data products end-to-end, from use case to production, including consumers, SLAs, and acceptance criteria
• Ensure data products have defined ownership, classification, access, and lineage aligned with data governance
• Ensure data products are production-ready and operationally viable
• Define data quality, validation, and traceability requirements for GxP compliance
• Drive adoption by measuring usage, gathering feedback, and iterating for sustained value
• Partner with engineering to ensure testing, monitoring, and lifecycle management of delivered products
• Coordinate across data engineering, platform, analytics, and business teams to manage dependencies
