Sago seeks a Director/VP of Sales Data Licensing to craft and scale a new revenue stream from consumer insights, audience intelligence, and proprietary data assets. You will close partnerships with AI/LLM developers, data marketplaces, and research firms, developing licensing, subscriptions, and API models to accelerate growth.

This entrepreneurial leader will own a multimillion-dollar sales plan, collaborate cross-functionally, and stay ahead of AI market trends while ensuring privacy

Qualifications

• 7+ years of successful B2B sales in data, SaaS, market research, or related fields.
• Experience selling data solutions to AI/LLM, technology, advertising, insights, or research organizations.
• Knowledge of privacy regulations and responsible data usage practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with key leaders on go-to-market strategy for data monetization and licensing; drive multi-million dollar sales growth.
• Identify, prospect, and close new opportunities targeting AI/LLM developers, data marketplaces, research firms; manage full sales cycle.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline expanding Sago’s data commercialization footprint.
• Develop commercial models with internal stakeholders focusing on data licensing, subscriptions, API access, and custom data products.
